Shalini is a public health professional and eating disorder recovery advocate whose hope is that anyone struggling with mental health or addiction issues recognizes that they deserve help and that they are able to access the services they need. Based in the suburbs of Washington, DC, Shalini’s day job entails public policy work focused on substance use disorder issues.
Shalini earned her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health, and she is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health with a focus on Health Policy and Management there. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University. In her free time, aside from eating disorders advocacy work, she enjoys baking, attempting mindfulness, stomping on crunchy leaves, and spending time with her family.
